Brief Description of the Supported Project
|
The 21st Central European Lung Cancer Conference is organised in Budapest for the fourth time. In recent years, CELCC has provided an opportunity for this region to share experiences, as the economic and human burden of lung cancer is similar in the region.
The conference is sheduled between 27 and 29 November 2025. The scientific program covers various important issues in lung cancer, combining basic research, screening, diagnostics, the latest professional guidelines and clinical practice. We have invited renowned speakers from all over the world to give presentations on a wide range of topics, incorporating the latest scientific knowledge. All of the submitted posters and presentations are original work of high quality. As Budapest embraces the spirit of Advent, the 4* Hotel Hélia — with its magnificent views of the Danube — provides the perfect venue for our conference. We believe that this conference will provide an opportunity to develop fruitful collaborations and deep personal connections in addition to the scientific program. It is a special honour for us to host this Conference again after 6 years. We would like the aprox. 250 participants from all over Europe to receive appropriate professional information on the most up-to-date preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic trends and to get acquainted with the modern medical devices and products available in this field as widely as possible. The participants come from France, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Germay, Czech Republic, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, USA (min. 70 %) and from Hungary (max. 30%)
